Juicy, umami, fire grilled Korean chicken sticks. Food at these markets is top quality, fresh and often cooked right in front of you. One of my favourites is Kordak.bne (Korean chicken) - grilled to perfection, super juicy and saucy! Authentic Tteok bokki is now on the menu too! 😍 …
Lots of interesting stalls compare to other weekend markets in Brisbane. The location is also perfect- next to the river. The crowd is also definitely nicer, great seeing lots of fur babies 🐩🐕🦮🐕🦺. Very busy so it’s good to go a bit early. Not many food stalls in my opinion, some food stalls with huge line so patience is needed. But overall, a great beautiful place to be!
More eats than produce, compared to West End Market. Dogs' paradise.
It’s always a great decision and morning out at these markets. They have something for everyone, great food, coffee, local produce and flowers . Plenty of green space to sit, or only a very short walk to New Farm Park. Plenty of dietary options, and I highly recommend the donuts! There’s a dog park there too, so the whole family is welcome. There is however next to no seating - so this is definitely something that could be improved. It is very busy, so there can be long waits for coffee and food, but if it’s a beautiful day it’s worth the wait to lap up some sun.
Great little markets! Fresh fruit & veg, live music, some cute little stalls and plenty of yummy food. There was a decent amount of vegan options (Roesti, vegan Bratwurst, a tofu bao, vegan dumplings, batch cookie bar vegan cookie, etc.) but I opted for the OG Bagel
Boys. Can’t go wrong with the onion bagel with avo, so yummy and only $6!
First time visiting this place. Really cool. A great setting for it. A good range of stalls with excellent food options. Something for everyone. They pack up by midday so I suggest getting there earlier. We were a little late.
Great mix of produce, craft and food at Powerhouse version of Jan Powers. It's my regular for fresh fruit and veg, and something special for a late Saturday breakfast.
We still come here after two years to spend a Saturday being inspired for the week's menu with fresh produce. There's usually a few new products and stands every few weeks, so something different to check out as well.
The addition of the Pleasure Dome tent for somewhere to sit and eat is a real bonus, though it can get pretty hot under there some days.
It's become our local, and we don't even live here. 🙂
By far the best local market imo. Food, drinks and produce are 👌🏻grab a bunch of lavender for that good night sleep 🛌😴 …
